Let's make a mezcal last word. Substituting mezcal for the gin in the cocktail adds a smokey component and it's a great way to get into mezcal.
Recipe:
3/4 ounce (22.5 ml) mezcal
3/4 ounce (22.5 ml) Green Chartreuse
3/4 ounce (22.5 ml) Luxardo Liqueur
3/4 ounce (22.5 ml) lime juice
Combine everything into a cocktail tin. Add ice and shake for 20 seconds. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry. Cheers!
