A key figure in the development of T-Hub, India’s largest startup incubator, Jayesh Ranjan shares some insights on realising the idea of a “Startup India”. “90% of the technological breakthroughs are from startups”, he says. He reveals the importance of structured working and good infrastructure for true growth and encouragement of new ideas, explaining the government’s role in helping new entrepreneurs to rise from the chaotic and often lonely world of startups.
Jayesh Ranjan, a member of the Indian Administrative Service, is the Secretary of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications Department in the Government of Telangana. He plays crucial role in IT Policy formulation, e-governance initiatives and creating congenial environment for companies to set up and expand their operations.
