The belt pulp filter press machine realizes the efficient separation of paper and plastic through a series of continuous and precise technological processes, and its working principle covers three core stages: pulp pretreatment, pressure filtration and dehydration, and solid-liquid separation.

First of all, in the pulp pretreatment stage, the collected paper-plastic composite waste (such as food packaging boxes, express packaging bags, etc.) is first crushed by a crusher to form small pieces of material, and then sent to the pulper for sufficient stirring and soaking. Under the action of mechanical force and chemical auxiliaries (if necessary), the fiber structure of the paper part is destroyed and dissolved in water to form a paper pulp suspension, while the plastic part maintains its original solid form and is mixed in the pulp. The uniformly mixed pulp suspension is then sent to the belt pulp filter press machine through the conveying pump to prepare for the next pressure filtration process.

Secondly, in the pressure filtration and dehydration stage, the pulp suspension is evenly distributed on the filter belt of the machine through the distributor. The filter belt is made of high-strength, corrosion-resistant and high-permeability materials, which can effectively intercept solid particles while allowing water to pass through. As the filter belt moves forward, the pulp is first subjected to gravity dehydration. Under the action of its own weight, most of the free water in the pulp seeps through the filter belt and is collected by the water receiving tray below. Then, the pulp enters the pressure dehydration area. Driven by the pressing roller group, the filter belt clamps the pulp and applies gradual pressure. Under the dual action of pressure and shear force, the bound water in the pulp is further squeezed out, and the paper fiber is gradually formed into a compact filter cake. At the same time, the plastic particles mixed in the pulp are also intercepted on the filter belt, but due to their different physical properties from paper fibers, they are easier to be separated from the filter cake in the subsequent process.

Finally, in the solid-liquid separation and material collection stage, the dehydrated filter cake (mainly composed of paper fiber and plastic particles) is sent to the separator. Through the screening or air separation device, the light plastic particles are separated from the heavy paper fiber filter cake. The separated paper fiber can be further processed into recycled paper, paperboard and other products, while the plastic particles can be granulated and reused to produce new plastic products. The filtered water (filtrate) is collected and treated by the wastewater treatment system, and then recycled to the pulping link, realizing the closed-loop utilization of water resources.
