KC public library garage! The biggest bookshelf I've ever seen!

Описание: The side of the Kansas City Public Librarys' Central Library parking garage. How cool is this? I love how Kansas City has all these fun things incorporated in to everyday places, like this library parking garage.

It tells me the people here care about stuff.

You know what else is cool? The actual Central library itself. I think it's one of the top 5 libraries I've been to! Chicago is still #1 to me but, this place is so cool that I find myself wandering around fairly often.

It's an old bank, so you can see the old vault in the basement area. They've turned the old vault in to a movie theater!! And have the vault doors right there for you to see- they're a marvel. The old teller windows are even there with that areas desk attendants behind the windows. Super cool.

This library even has a couple original rooms, such as a meeting room complete with original round table, wooden walls and staircase and they let people check it out and wander about.

And I cannot forget the plant cutting station at the front desk, or the rooftop garden and chess board.

Truly, this is a unique and fun spot. And they have books too!!
