I'm ToilGek and here are my favorite ByteBeats!
These songs were created in No Man's Sky using ByteBeats, a simple in-game digital audio workstation. It has limited features, so I work with looping tracks to craft unique LoFi songs and samples. The songs I make are often intended to have that "video game music" vibe, with a twist of pop, rock, hip-hop, punk, metal, blues, and more. I mostly create original music because covers are challenging using the limited tools in ByteBeats.
My musical influences are wide-ranging and ridiculous. If any of my original tunes sound like existing songs, it's likely that I've drawn some inspiration from memory (whether conscious or unconscious).
