Hi! Today’s video is a very honest one for me.
If you’ve been following my journey, you know I’ve been navigating weight gain, self-image, and trying to figure out what actually works for me — mentally and physically. For a while, I was on a GLP-1 medication, Trulicity. And I want to be very clear… this is not an anti-medication video.
But I had a moment where I realized something hard to admit — I wasn’t using it like a tool… I was using it like a crutch.
Under my doctor’s guidance, I stopped taking it cold turkey instead of weaning off, and that experience forced me to look at my habits, my mindset, and the emotional side of my journey in a way I hadn’t before.
So this is just my story… my reflection… and what I learned about myself through the process. If you’re on your own journey — whatever that looks like — just know you’re not alone.
