Inspired by old-school arcade shooters, this full gameplay showcases the complete escape mission as enemies swarm each corridor and every shot counts.

The game plays like a modern throwback to titles such as House of the Dead and Virtua Cop, with automatic camera movement, fast enemy spawns, and simple but responsive controls. Players aim with the mouse/lightgun, reload manually, and must react quickly to survive wave-based encounters while pushing toward freedom on the Red Planet.

Created in one month for SickFisher’s ArtShow, Mars 2070 was developed by CaptainRipley as a tribute to classic rail shooters. Featuring music by K8eplayhouse and assets from Kenney, this short but focused indie project delivers a short but complete arcade-style experience designed for quick sessions and replayability.
