Hi, I’m Jenn, founder of WELLOGA and The Thoughtful Slowdown — a Canadian wellness entrepreneur, yoga and meditation teacher, and someone who’s lived in both Dubai and Bali, learning what balance really means.
After moving abroad for work, my energy crashed, my concentration disappeared, my speech became affected, and my hair started falling out. At first, I thought it was stress or travel fatigue, but later learned it was a mix of Celiac Disease, Thyroid issues, and burnout.
Like many professionals, I kept pushing through — caffeine, long workouts, and constant busyness. What worked at 20 stopped working at 30 and 40. I didn’t realize I was making my body fight even harder to keep up.
Over time, I began to heal through yoga, meditation, rest, and better self-awareness. Not overnight — but slowly, naturally, and fully.
My focus, energy, and clarity returned. My speech improved. My hair grew back. I finally felt like myself again.
