In this ritual, I prepare my cacao with you, opening the space with prayer, where we drink the medicine together & let the music guide us into presence, connection & embodied prayer.

Each track carries the spirit of cacao: softening, opening, remembering.

This mix weaves ceremonial vocals, organic electronic textures, shamanic rhythms & ancestral prayers into a grounded, heart-led flow, created to be felt slowly & with intention.

I want to name this with care and honesty 🤍 Cacao is a sacred plant medicine with deep roots in Indigenous cultures of Mesoamerica, where it has been used ceremonially for centuries.

As cacao ceremonies have become more popular worldwide, it’s important to acknowledge that this growing demand can sometimes place pressure on Indigenous lands and communities, especially when cacao is sourced without fair trade, reciprocity, or respect for its origins.

This offering is shared with deep reverence, not as ownership of a tradition, but as a humble practice of remembrance and connection. I encourage anyone working with cacao to do so consciously:
-to learn where it comes from,
-to support ethical and Indigenous-led sources,
-to avoid overuse or commercialization,
and to treat the medicine as a relationship, not a product.

May we walk with respect, gratitude, and responsibility, honoring cacao not only in ritual, but in how we choose to source, share, and speak about it.

The cacao used in this ceremony is sourced from Guatemala through trusted, community-based relationships around Lake Atitlán, with respect for local people, land & tradition.
