See the conditions in downtown St Pete and the nearby barrier islands of Madeira Beach, Treasure Island, St. Pete Beach, and Pass A Grille. This footage was taken the morning of Thursday September 29, the day after Hurricane Ian. At this point, the mandatory evacuation order had been lifted.
As you will see, the St Pete area fared remarkably well given the devastating damage predictions just a day or two prior. For that, we are extremely thankful.
Please keep all those affected by Hurricane Ian in your thoughts and prayers.
