The GYPREG project partners from Finland, Lithuania, and Poland share how and why they are involved in the Project.
Led by the Finnish Research Institute, the GYPREG project brings together various stakeholders in the coastal states of the Baltic Sea for reducing nutrient leaching from agricultural fields. In Finland, gypsum treatment has been proven to be an effective method for reducing phosphorus runoff into water bodies. Now, its suitability will be tested in Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and the Åland Islands, Finland.
