Saltwater River Fishing Mark in Hebburn, South Tyneside. North East England's abandoned shipyards litter this area and luckily some are still accessible to us anglers.
Minutes from the A1 and A19 by car and a stone's throw from the local metro station.
The River Tyne is a saltwater river, this close to the sea, so you will be needing baits like ragworm, lugworm, peeler crab, mussels, black lug and squid to target the fish here.
Whiting, Codling, Coalfish and Various Flatfish are the usual suspects in Hebburn.
Fishing any of these marks will usually bring results if your not in it for the prize fish you dream of catching.
A nice chill spot for fishing on the banks of the River Tyne.
