The word Kazakhstan means the land of Kazakhs. The name Kazakhstan is formed by combining two words Kazakh and -stan. Kazakhstan is home to 120 ethnic groups. The ancient Khajak people were the first people in the world to domesticate horses and practice horseback riding.
