For the first webinar in this series on Wednesday 1st November we were joined by vet, Merry Smith who discussed how to manage arthritic changes in ridden horses.
Arthritis is a condition that not only affects older horses, but we are increasingly seeing younger horses developing arthritic changes. Merry discussed common areas of arthritic changes in ridden horses, the potential causes, the steps you can take to minimise the risk of your horse developing arthritis and how to effectively manage it should your horse develop arthritis.
