Описание: VEKTOR is the latest audiovisual installation by renowned light artist Christopher Bauder at KRAFTWERK Berlin. EventElevator took the chance to talk to the lighting visionary about his current, breathtaking laser installation. In the interview, he gives an insight into the technology used and the passion of his own teams from WHITEvoid and KINETIC LIGHTS. The physical momentum of a kinetic installation is a sensual, holistic experience that is far more deeply moving than current immersive exhibitions that rely „only“ on spatial projection.

In his most personal work to date, Bauder fuses kinetic light from 50 moving lasers into the negative space with a self-composed three-dimensional soundscape to create a synaesthetic work of art. Winches developed in-house by KINTEC LIGHTS are responsible for the ultra-precise movements of the futuristic custommade laser pods. Bauder composed also the soundtrack for the installation himself. A 30-channel L-Acoustics L-ISA sound system is used to create an immersive sound feeling that is precisely matched to the movements of the installation.
