Animated stereoscopic photographs of Paiute Indians living in the area of Las Vegas, Nevada, in the early 1870's. Each stereoview also originally came with the caption of "The Nu-a-gun-tits, a tribe of Indians living at the Ve-gas, or meadows, in southwestern Nevada," or "Mo-a-pa-rit-ats, a tribe of Indians inhabiting the valley of the Mo-a-pa River, a tributary of the Rio Virgen, a tributary in Southern Nevada." Taken by photographer John K. Hillers.
