Lawyer Danstan Omari cross-examined the DCI officer, who admitted in court that no government or judicial stamps were recovered during the search conducted at Judy Koech’s residence.
During the cross-examination, it also emerged that Judy Koech was improperly listed as a petitioner in Petition No. E690 of 2025, as she neither swore a supporting affidavit nor granted authority for anyone to file proceedings on her behalf, effectively excluding her from the High Court petition.
The officer confirmed that the search yielded title deeds, electronic devices, mobile phones, and cash, but no stamps belonging to the Judiciary, the Registrar of Companies, or any other government agency were recovered. Further, none of the title deeds were registered in Judy Koech’s name, though some were linked to companies in which her husband is a director.
