Описание: Review and Smoking a Newport EXP Max "Non-Menthol Cigarette," which is one of the newest additions to the brand’s lineup, having been released in early 2023 in California due to the flavored tobacco ban that took place there early that year.

I thought that these were a menthol ban state exclusive product, but it turns out that they've very recently started getting sold in my state as well, which is how I was able to purchase them.
Quite interesting for sure, and I figure that introducing these compliant varieties into states where they are not needed yet is RJ Reynolds’ way of getting ahead of the curve, just in case the worst happens, and the federal government really does go through with their plan, and in all honesty, I'd do the exact same. It's a smart move.

Newport was first introduced as a menthol cigarette brand in the United States in 1957 by the Lorillard Tobacco Company, and was by no means an immediate success. However, in the 1970's, the popularity of the nameplate exploded, and by the mid-1990's, they were the most popular m-orientated brand in the United States.

Today, the brand is produced by RJ Reynolds, who purchased them in 2015, and is the second most sold brand within the USA.

However, their 30 year reign of popularity may come to an end if the FDA is able to get their proposed legislation pushed through. As such, RJR has been taking steps to ensure the continued success of the brand, such as introducing new N-M varieties, in hopes that even if the worst comes to be, they will continue to stay popular.

Now, even though these are "N-M" cigarettes, from what I've heard they still have a cooling agent in them called WS-3, which supposedly gives the same cooling, soothing, effect as M, but sadly without the taste, so I'm certainly expecting these to be much more interesting smokes than not, that is for sure.
