This ride took place on 2 April 2025 from Almeley to Hay on Wye. 18 cyclists braved very nice, cool, slightly windy conditions on yet another excellent ride of the year.
The coffee stop was at New Strand, Eardisley, and after the ride passed over the Whitney on Wye toll bridge. Lunch was taken at The Grange, Hay on Wye. After lunch the ride stopped to admire the Eardisley Oak, reputed to be 600-800 years old. It is 9.3 metres in girth.
