On 28 June I went to Perth to see the Model Railway Exhibition there (no video of that I'm afraid). Despite the wet weather in Carlisle, it was a gorgeous day in Scotland - I actually travelled without a jacket!

First by Avanti to Haymarket where I took a few clips.

I had planned to get the Inter7city unit to Perth via Stirling but it was cancelled south of Stirling so I, and a large number of others, travelled via the Fife coast.

Perth station has definitely seen better days. Faded glory indeed. It was hot too with few trains.

I returned to Haymarket on an Inter7city unit via Stirling and then spend a couple of hours filming there.

Azumas, 390s, 397s and a 221 among the various DMUs and electric units heading in and out of Waverley.
