A powerful beginning to three days of innovation and learning.

Day 1 of Phase 1 of the three-day Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp marked an inspiring start, bringing together 190+ principals and teachers from PM SHRI Schools for an immersive and engaging learning experience.

The day commenced with the inauguration ceremony, setting the tone for focused collaboration and innovation-driven learning. This was followed by “Spark Quest – Introduction to Innovation and Design Thinking Principles,” which introduced participants to the fundamentals of creativity, empathy, and design-led problem solving.

Through the D.I.S.R.U.P.T. Model to Innovation activity, educators engaged in hands-on exploration of disruptive thinking and creative ideation. The session on “Entrepreneurial Innovation – A Path to Problem and Opportunity Identification” further enabled participants to recognise real-world challenges and transform them into meaningful opportunities.

The group activity “Assemble Real-World Problems – Find It, Frame It” encouraged collaborative problem identification and clear problem framing, laying a strong foundation for innovation. This was complemented by the session on “Innovation Initiatives of DoSEL, MoE,” which provided insights into national-level programmes supporting innovation in school education.

Day 1 concluded with the inspiring panel discussion “Inspire to Start – Talk with Young Founders,” offering real-world perspectives on entrepreneurship, innovation journeys, and resilience—bringing the day to a meaningful and motivating close.
