15 Marvel Actors That Were Also In Star Wars Movies

When it comes to blockbuster franchises, it doesn’t get much bigger than Marvel Comics Universe and Star Wars. So it brings a tear of joy to my eye every time I see one of my favorite actors land a role in either massive property. And with a collective 60 years between them, there have been a lot of actors lucky enough to appear in both. From the literal biggest draw in box office history, to Padme’s handmaiden in The Clone Wars, names big and small have performed this feat.

Jon Favreau has the distinction of not only appearing in both franchises, but also directing, taking the helm of both Iron Man movies. Oscar Isaac has the dubious honor of playing not only one of the most beloved Star Wars characters, but also one of the most reviled in the MCU. It’s a good thing he’s wearing a lot of makeup for the part. Andy Serkis stars not only in these two giant franchises, but also The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Planet of the Apes Trilogy AND is about to appear in the DC Universe. Lupita Nyong’o is one of our entries who stars in one universe, but is incognito in the other, using only her voice to play a very important character. Here’s a hint: She gives Finn Luke’s lightsaber.
