‘’Danifox’’ was born in Amadora, in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, to Angolan parents. He recalls his parents playing semba music, with artists like Paulo Flores providing a lively soundtrack. Veiga discovered his passion for DJing at his parents' wedding around age six or seven, captivated by his uncle's mixing of semba, kizomba, and zouk. By age 11, during the era of Bluetooth audio sharing, he developed his own tastes, influenced by kuduro and other Angolan styles like tarraxo and kizomba. These genres, later reappraised by his friend DJ Lycox, shaped his unique batida sound.
