Russia India China Relations: Towards Rebalancing the World Order

Описание: Mr Ridipt Singh, an intern in Research Writing Program hosted by Defence Research & Studies (DRaS) and Praghna Centre for Research (Praghna), presented his research paper on Russia-India-China Relations: Towards Rebalancing the World Order on 22 Oct 2022.

Both DRaS and Praghna are conducting this Research Writing Program to foster a spirit of scientific inquiry among students and early career academicians for over a year now. The program develops in them scientific approach and skills to undertake research into a theme of relevance and develop a full fledged research paper or article through interactive and instructive weekly sessions.

In order to develop in young students the confidence to showcase their work and finetune their public speaking skills, we have now started public presentation of their work. We hope this initiative will serve our twin objectives of scientific research as well as public speaking skills of emerging scholars well.

In this presentation, Ridipt Singh explores the feasibility of cooperation between Russia-India-China, the concept of RIC that has its origins in the Primakov Doctrine, the inherent opportunities and challenges to such cooperation, and certain lessons that RIC could use from EU and ASEAN to strengthen cooperation. He specifically addresses bottlenecks like Sino Indian border issue and make policy recommendations that should be of interest to scholars, policy makers and analysts.

We do hope to host the works of our other interns in times to come.
