Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has admitted to having two affairs with Russian women and has apologised for his links to the convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
"I did have affairs" but "I saw and did nothing illicit", Bill Gates revealed to his charity, the Gates Foundation.
An email that was made public in January revealed that Epstein claimed Gates had caught a sexually transmitted infection after sleeping with Russian women.
Bill Gates has called the claims "absolutely absurd and completely false".
“The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame,” the statement read.
The billionaire has denied any involvement with Epstein’s victims.
