Radford Rocks Liberty, 33-7
RADFORD - John Dobbins, denied a chance at the New River District scoring title and league record when he missed one game with injury, strengthened his second district scoring finish and broke more school records as he led Radford to a 33-7 blasting of Liberty Friday night. Dobbins, who did not play against Pulaski in the only lost, scored four touchdowns, game the New River bringing his season total of 122 points. That left him points behind the scoring titlist, Donnie Beamer of Galax, eight points from the old district record Beamer broke. The four TDs and 28 points did break his own Bobcat marks for touchdowns and points in a season, now giving him five school records in all.
