That God is faithful is a common theme throughout the Bible There is a great contrast between God’s perfect faithfulness and human inconsistency, showing that while people often fail—through weakness, forgetfulness, or lack of love—God never fails. He keeps His promises, gives counsel, forgives sin, shows mercy, protects His people, and never forsakes them. Faithfulness is more than occasional good deeds or keeping rules out of duty. True faithfulness flows from love. God is faithful because He is love, and if we truly love Him, we will respond with steady, wholehearted faithfulness in return.
