Like a Lamb led forth to die.
No defense formed upon His lips,
Obedience heard the Father’s cry.

Cut off from the land of the living,
Stricken for people not His own.
Assigned a grave among the wicked,
Yet with the rich—though no deceit was known.

It pleased Yahoah to crush Him,
To lay sickness upon the Son.
When His soul was made an offering for guilt,
Redemption had begun.
