It's a special Friday edition of Also Eligible. Bleacher Brothers interest will be on New York at Schoolyardsuperman attempts his first steps towards the Kentucky Derby in the rescheduled Withers Stakes (race 10, 1 1/8 miles).
We also take a look at the Ruthless Stakes (race 8, 7 furlongs). It's not an Oaks prep race, but who knows, maybe a filly ends up running in a Oaks prep race in the future.
Oaklawn also rescheduled their card from last Saturday to Friday, and we will take a look at their prep races. Race 6 will be the Martha Washington Stakes for the fillies and Race 10 is the Southwest Stakes (with a full field of 14). Both races are a mile and a sixteenth.
