The third of five presentations during the month of December, this week's presentation will explore the role of Clara and how this role challenges each dancer both technically and artistically. Throughout New Jersey Ballet's history, a dancer's technical and artistic ability has always been the determining factor in how this coveted role is cast.
This week's presentation will also highlight the Little Girls dance from Act 1 and the Sugar Plum Fairy variation from Act 2.
The Holidays will not be the same, but New Jersey Ballet wants to bring the joy of Nutcracker into everyone’s living room by presenting rarely seen footage, interviews from current and former dancers, and excerpts from the production recorded from New Jersey Ballet’s performance space in Florham Park.
