The video installation "Monologue" shows the process of ambience recording of the empty Teatro Regio in Parma (one of the world’s most important opera houses): the layering of the sounds makes the theatre resonate. With silence the theatre is in darkness, but, as the sound rises, the lights slowly grow up to reveal the hall and, in backlight, the artist alone on stage thoroughly listening to the sound of the “voice” of the theater.
