Sen. Imee Marcos said that Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon is not an engineer before his appearance at the Bicameral Conference Committee on Sunday.
The senator made the statement on Sunday, December 14, just before Dizon appeared as a resource person to discuss the proposed 2026 budget.
The DPWH secretary admitted that he is not an engineer, noting that he never claimed that he is one.
During the committee meeting, Dizon defended the restoration of the P45-billion budget for several projects that was cut in the Senate's 2026 budget.
