Tracey @artfiberstitch experiments with wool roving, silk, fabric scraps, and natural materials like feathers and leaves to make a mixed media birds nest. Blending it all together with needle felting to make this charming nest. This is Part 1 and in this we will use wool felt as the background, we start with a flat piece and start to add in all sorts of things both front and back which will then become the inside and outside of the nest.
Part 2 we will then mould this flat piece into the 3 dimensional nest, using previously made wool and silk leaves and leaf skeletons to bring it to life.
