I’m Turning $100 Into a Michael Jordan Rookie Card

Growing up in the 1990s, if you collected sports cards, there was one card everyone dreamed about owning — the 1986 Fleer Basketball rookie of Michael Jordan. For most collectors, it felt impossible to ever afford.

Today, I’m starting a brand-new challenge to prove something important in the sports card hobby.

I’m taking $100 and turning it into a Michael Jordan rookie card — step by step, with no shortcuts.

This series is called The Jordan Journey, and it’s all about showing how small buys, patience, and smart flipping can scale into something big. I’ve been a picker since I was a teenager, and I’ve built a full-time reselling business by reinvesting profits and playing the long game. Now, I’m applying that same mindset to sports cards.

✔️ Cards can only be bought in person (card shows, card shops, flea markets, garage sales, and private deals)
✔️ I can only use the original $100 plus real profits — no imaginary money
✔️ Cards will be sold using methods anyone can access (eBay, Whatnot, Dibdit, card shows, and private sales)
