Описание: Hi gang here is my latest vintage ski video, the Besser Alu Comp. These plate bindings and other older binding systems like the Miller or Cubco did the job of removing the ski boot from the release system. Before ISO/DIN/ASTM standards were placed on boot manufactures the material, general shape and size were all over the map, leading to very inconsistent performance for release and skier safety. Most of us have memories and opinions of working on or using these plate bindings that will range from awkward to awful. But in their time and place they did a good job increasing safety for the skiing public.
