Drama about a man (Ronald Lee?) who steals a ring for his girlfriend (Denise Ridout?); Ends with an elongated chase as military man and original owner of the ring (Raymond Manison) pursues them. That chase is increasingly comic (inc. running joke about West Wycombe Fete sign), leads to a dramatic fall – and the revelation it was all a dream.

The first film produced by the High Wycombe Film Society production unit. Written by Tony Rose and directed by John Aldred, it is a well-made if predictable drama-comedy that demonstrates good filmmaking abilities (such as its use of optical effects to suggeste the paranoia of the main male character). Given Rose’s comment that the actors were all members of the production unit, that suggests that Denise Ridout, Minnie Perry and Beatrice Piratin were all active members of the Film Society at the time.
