Wash it first, or you're water will taste like the plastic bag. After washing i took this on a hiking trip and 2 fishing trips...it worked amazingly! I didnt expect it to work as well as it did. Getting the attachment piece to poke out the hole is a bit of a hassle. However once u get a knack for it, its much easier.
