Looking for February Flounder on the Paddleboard

I got up at 2:00am and went for a paddle along the ICW. The mosquitoes were atrocious. The water was muddy but I still saw more than ten flounder. A couple of the flounders might have made the minimum 15" requirement, but I couldn't be sure, so I didn't gig any.
I also saw a lot of redfish foraging in the shallows. There were little fish fry everywhere along the bank. I think most likely they were little glass minnows. I could hear outside my light an occasional redfish chasing the minnows.
At daybreak, I set three rods with dead shrimp and cut croaker. I caught a lot of panfish, but only kept one sand trout and three whiting--all caught on cut croaker.
It was another good adventure.
