Git Init command

In this video, we learn how to configure git using git config, to setup user.name and user.email. Then we use git init and several git commands like git add, git commit, git status, git log to create the very first git repo.

Here are all the commands used in the video:

git config --global user.name "tamil tech"
git config --global user.email "[email protected]"

git init (used to initialize a git repo)

git add filename (working directory to staging area)

git status (current status check)

git commit -m "commit message" (to commit the current staged files to git repo with the commit message)

git log (log of commits in the repo)
