Edited and restored from the best sources I could find, this is Sananda Maitreya (Terence Trent D'Arby) performing and being interviewed on Channel 4's "The Tube" in the UK in 1987.
The songs performed were:
1. (0:37) "If You Let Me Stay" (live performance, its TV debut on February 20, 1987);
2. (04:34) "Wanderful World" (Sam Cooke cover);
• (08:02) A conversation with Paula Yates. This aired on April 3, 1987.
The Tube: A live music program from the 1980s on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. It is famous for featuring the biggest names in music of the time performing live at the Tyne Tees Television studios and for launching artists who would become huge successes.
