While driving through Gotham feels exhilarating at first, the overuse of Batmobile combat sections can feel repetitive and detract from the core stealth and exploration that made the series so iconic. Gotham itself is beautifully realized—sprawling, vertical, and alive with detail—making gliding across its skyline one of the game’s greatest joys, and side missions featuring villains like Two-Face, Penguin, and Professor Pyg add variety and depth to the experience.
