In this reflective session, host Marianne welcomes New Testament scholar and poet Art Dewey for a deep exploration of theopoetics—a way of understanding faith through imagination, language, and creative renewal. Dewey draws from philosophers, poets, and theologians to examine how we imagine the real, how trauma shapes imagination, and how language can either imprison or liberate faith. Through readings of his own poems and works by Seamus Heaney, Dante, and others, Dewey invites listeners to reimagine theology as conversation at the edges of things—where wonder, memory, and presence intertwine.
