The legendary #Rolex Cosmograph Panda #Daytona, reference 116500LN. First introduced in 2016 to replace the previous 116520, was the first Rolex automatic sports watch with a ceramic (or "Cerachrom") bezel. This model has just (March 2023) been discontinued.
The case and bracelet are made from Rolex's 904L Stainless Steel, which is claimed to be more resistant to corrosion, and has a brighter polished finish. The case diameter of 40mm, lug to lug of 46.5mm and a slim height of 12.4mm to a flat sapphire crystal. The oyster style bracelet has a brushed finishing on the outer links, and polished on the inner links. The oyster clasp has a fold over lock system and includes the easy link extension system, but also includes some micro adjustment.
The in-house calibre 4130 movement has a vertical clutch and column wheel, beating at 4Hz, the superlative chronometer is accurate to -2/+2 seconds per day. It is protected by 100m water resistance thanks to the screw down crown and pushers. White lacquered dials with black sub-dials, with white gold hands and markers, along with blue luminescence lume.
