In diesem kurzen Tutorial zeige ich euch, wie ihr beim Hyundai der Baureihe PD/ PDE den Soundgenerator ausbauen könnt.
Für das Video wurden teile des Windshield-Noise-Fix-Videos verwendet, da ich bei diesem Wetter nicht nochmal alles aufnehmen wollte. Für die die es kennen, einfach vorspulen.

Wieso das Ganze: Beim N der ersten Baujahre gab es ab und an immer mal wieder Probleme mit dem Teil. Dazu gehören Vibrationen, Rattern, sporadische Ausfälle(...).

Falls ihr Probleme mit Vibrationen habt, der Generator aber funktionsfähig ist, versucht einfach zwischen den Soundgenerator und die Aufnahme ein bis 2 Unterlegscheiben aus Plastik zu Schrauben. Das hat oftmals das Problem behoben.

Da ich den "Klang" dieses Geräts aber eher als störend empfand habe ich mich dazu entschlossen, das Ding ganz auszubauen. Jetzt kann man in aller Ruhe den klang des Auspuffs genießen.
Was benötigt wird:

14mm Nuss mit Rätsche
10mm Gabelschlüssel
Einen Schraubendreher oder Ähnliches
Klebeband (Position der Wischer markieren)

Zeitbedarf: Ca. eine halbe Stunde, je nachdem wie einfach sich die Wischer entfernen lassen.

In this short tutorial I show you how to remove the sound generator on the Hyundai PD / PDE series.

Why the whole thing: On the first years of construction, there were sometimes problems with that part from time to time. These include vibrations, rattling, sporadic failures (...).

If you have problems with vibrations, but the generator is functional, just try to screw one or two plastic washers between the sound generator and the mount. This has often solved the problem.

Since I found the "sound" of this device really annoying, I decided to remove the thing completely. Now you can enjoy the sound of the exhaust in peace and quiet.


What is needed:
14mm nut with razor
10mm wrench
A screwdriver or similar
adhesive tape (mark the position of the wipers)

Time required: approx. half an hour, depending on how easy it is to remove your wipers.
