Zabdiel “Zab” Judah is one of the most electrifying fighters of his era. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Judah built his reputation on explosive speed, sharp footwork, and a dangerous southpaw style that made him a nightmare inside the ring.

Competing professionally from 1996 to 2019, Judah captured multiple world titles across two weight classes and became the undisputed welterweight champion in 2005, holding the WBA, WBC, and IBF belts simultaneously. Earlier in his career, he secured the IBF and WBO junior welterweight championships and later reclaimed the IBF title in 2011 — a testament to his resilience and longevity.

Over the course of his career, Judah shared the ring with boxing’s biggest names, including Floyd Mayweather, solidifying his place among the sport’s elite during one of boxing’s most competitive eras.

He finished his professional career with a record of 44 wins, 30 by knockout, along with 10 losses and 2 no contests. In 2019, following a bout that resulted in a serious brain bleed, Judah stepped away from the sport — closing the chapter on a career defined by heart, skill, and championship pedigree.

Judah's amateur career was equally impressive, boasting a 110–5 record. He was a two-time U.S. national champion and a three-time New York Golden Gloves champion. Despite his success, he narrowly missed qualifying for the 1996 Olympic boxing team, serving instead as an alternate.

Beyond the ring, Judah is known for his distinctive style and charismatic personality. A proud Brooklyn native, he has remained active in his community and continues to be a prominent figure in the boxing world.
