In this episode you will see our journey of Ratnagiri city, we visited sea beach of Ratnagiri, visited fort, palace and many other sightseeing places in Ratnagiri.

This was the 9th day of our Konkan tour, this video was shot on 25 September , Following are the places visited by us as part of 9th episode of Konkan tour,

We stayed at Seafan Ratnagiri premium category room - Rs 5000 double occupancy including breakfast. Located near Mandavi Beach Walkway.

We started our day by visiting the Mandavi Beach Walkway. The view was amazing.

Gandhi Misal Shop , We had breakfast at Gandhi missal, price Rs 50 per missal.

Birthplace of Freedom Fighter Lok Manya Tilakji - We visited the ancestral house of Tilak ji who was the first leader of the Indian independence movement. Tilak ji was known for his writings, many people got inspired with his writing. You will get to see many photographs related to his life.

Patit pawan mandir - It was built in 1931, Apart from temple there is also a museum dedicated to Veer Savarkar ji, you can see pictures & can read about Savarkar ji.

Ratnadurg fort - It is located on the mountain, we visited a temple, dedicated to Maa Bhagwati inside the fort. . You will get a beautiful view of the Arabian sea from the fort. This fort is believed to be constructed in the 12th century.

After 1 km from the fort, we visited the Lighthouse.

Konkani food at Konkani Angan, Surmai Fish Curry - Rs 200 per plate, Fansachi (Kathal) Bhaji - Rs 120 per plate, Olya Kaju Gar chi Usal (Kaju Usal) - Rs 130 per plate, Kadave Vaal - Rs 110 per plate, Pomfret Fry - Rs 220, Solkadhi - Rs 25 per glass.

Thiba Palace - This palace was closed it wasn’t open after the Covid outbreak, the architecture of this palace is beautiful.

Bhatye Beach - 3 km from the Palace, at this beach I noticed many seashells.

Petroglyphs were discovered in Ratnagiri by a few local villagers & engineers, now it is under ASI. This is basically a shape is carved on the rock by the early age people.
We stayed at Ratna Prabha Palace - Rs 2000 double occupancy, this is about 5 km from Kasheli beach.
