Описание: I went into this skincare edit with high expectations and a long wish list: KraveBeauty Matcha and Re-Wined Cleansers, Goodal Vegan Rice Milk Toner, Some By Mi Beta Panthenol, Benton Ceramide Cream and Kisocare 0.1% Retinol.

Welcome back to another Skincare Edit. This month was a real mix: one cleanser genuinely surprised me, a cult-fave felt… less life-changing than I expected, and a few barrier/ceramide picks landed firmly in the “glad I tried it” zone.

Skincare expectations are weirdly emotional. We build them from hype, reviews, ingredient claims, price, packaging, and that little fantasy that this product will be the one that makes our routine feel effortless and our skin feel “fixed.” But the more you try, the more your standards shift: “good” stops feeling exciting, and you start chasing a specific kind of payoff: texture you love, comfort, zero irritation, that instant sense of ahhh. Sometimes a cult favourite is genuinely solid but doesn’t deliver, and sometimes a random afterthought ends up surprising you because it nails the experience, not the promise. The tricky part is that disappointment doesn’t always mean a product is bad, it just means your expectations were higher than what it could realistically give.
