Описание: In line with the Rugby World Cup across the water, the town of Athy welcomed rugby players for a day of fun, sport and entertainment. At the recent open day at Athy Rugby Club, adults and juveniles alike came out to take part in the festivities. In recent years, with the huge interest in Ladies rugby, the club has grown in numbers and boasts a large number of female players. The day itself was about opening doors for new players to join in a growing and competitive environment at the club. Sinead Kelly, P.R.O. at the Rugby Club, gave us more information on the day's activities.
