The best dinner experience at Haleiwa Joe's! plus Eating Malasadas, & visit the Ala Moana Center

We embarked on some island exploration using our stomachs as wayfinders! lol

The morning started with a quick walk to a nearby beach to explore for some turtles. It was such a beautiful place to visit and only like 7 minutes from Aulani.

On our way to the Ala Moana Center we stopped by a grocery store parking lot and ate at a couple food trucks, with one being a Leonard’s food truck. We also had some Filipino food as well

Now it was time for the Ala Moana Center, an outdoor mall, that sounds kinda typical but it did have our attention for a long time. We explored plus ate some food and had some coffee all for about 2.5 hours. And we didn’t even see the entire place. If you enjoy malls I say you should go for sure.

All this time spent was in anticipation of our day goal to eat at Haleiwa Joe’s Haiku Garden location. It was everything we could have imagined and more. We walked the jungle garden, enjoyed most of our dinner in a rain storm, and had a wonderful dessert as the sunset behind the mountain. Delicious food and amazing service really took this place and made it the best experience ever.
