核心準則：

堅持首版原盤： 唱盤僅保留給原版黑膠唱片。拒絕數位捷徑，不播放盜版（Bootlegs），亦不使用重刻版（Reissues）。
冷門勝過金曲： 選樂刻意避開顯而易見的電台熱門神曲。雖然偶爾會穿插經典作品，但重心始終放在稀有且被低估的曲目上。
混音風格： 混音手法嚴謹且充滿敬意。所有的重心皆完全回歸唱片本身，讓音樂自己說話。

生於瑞士的黑膠狂熱者 Thomas Schlatter (又名 Sizzle)，將他對稀有的 Soul、Funk、Disco 及 Boogie 的終身熱愛，轉化為一場橫跨大洲的使命。

身為歐洲稀有靈魂樂收藏家指標性活動「Swiss Soul Weekender」的原始發起者，Thomas 數十年來致力於培育充滿活力的音樂社群。現居亞洲的他，是 Formosa Soul Club 和 Melted Wax 等多個具影響力團體的核心推手。

從曾於東京 Night Fox Club 駐場，到如今落腳台北，Thomas 定期籌辦每月一度的 Formosa Soul Club 活動，以及備受期待的「Formosa Soul & Funk Weekender」。

此外，他也是曼谷 LongLai 的共同經營者、Sizzlin' Records 的主理人，以及 7x7 Accessories 的品牌創辦人。

Founded by Thomas Schlatter, Formosa Soul Club is a loose collective and event series based in Taipei, dedicated to the appreciation of rare soul, funk, disco, and boogie music. It serves as a sanctuary for collectors and dancers who value the authenticity of analog sound over modern digital convenience. At its heart, the club celebrates the gritty, obsessive culture of vinyl collecting and crate digging.

The Core Tenets:

Original Pressings: The decks are reserved for original vinyl, no digital shortcuts, no bootlegs, and no reissues.
Obscurity over Hits: The curation deliberately skips obvious radio anthems. While the occasional classic finds its way into the sets, the focus remains on the rare and underplayed.
The mixing style is deliberate and respectful. The focus remains entirely on the record itself, letting the music do the talking.

Swiss-born vinyl enthusiast Thomas Schlatter (aka Sizzle) has turned a lifelong passion for rare soul, funk, disco, and boogie into a cross-continental mission. As the original organizer of the Swiss Soul Weekender, a staple for European rare soul collectors, Thomas has spent decades fostering vibrant music communities.

Now based in Asia, he is the driving force behind several influential collectives, including Formosa Soul Club, and Melted Wax. From a residency at Tokyo’s Night Fox Club to his current base in Taipei, Thomas organizes the monthly Formosa Soul Club and the highly anticipated Formosa Soul & Funk Weekender.

He is the co-owner of LongLai Bangkok, the curator behind Sizzlin' Records, and the creator of 7x7 Accessories.
